Example Grammar in Hindi :-   Explanation in English :-

सर्वनाम

  Sarvanam (Pronoun)

संज्ञा के स्थान पर प्रयुक्त होने वाले शब्द को सर्वनाम कहते है। संज्ञा की पुनरुक्ति को दूर करने के लिए ही सर्वनाम का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

Sarvanam is the replacing word of Sangya (Noun). We use Sarvanam to prevent repeat of Sangya.
Interpretation:- Suppose you are writing - Ram is a boy. Ram reads a book. Ram is a student of lietrature. This is incorrect way of writing. You can write instead - Ram is a boy. He reads a book. He is a student of lietrature. So he is pronoun here.

जैसे - मैं, हम, तू, तुम, वह, यह, आप, कौन, कोई, जो आदि।

सर्वनाम के भेद-
सर्वनाम के छह भेद हैं-
1. पुरुषवाचक सर्वनाम
2. निश्चयवाचक सर्वनाम
3. अनिश्चयवाचक सर्वनाम
4. संबंधवाचक सर्वनाम
5. प्रश्नवाचक सर्वनाम
6. निजवाचक सर्वनाम

Example - Main (I), Hum (We), Tum (You), Too (Thou), Wah (He), Yah (This), Aap (You for repect and plural use), Kaun (Who), Koi (Someone), Jo (Who, That person)

There are 6 kinds of Sarvanam :-
1. Purushvachak - Personal Pronoun
2. Nishchayvachak - Definite Pronoun
2. Anishchayvachak - Indefinite Pronoun
3. Sambandhvachak - Possessive Pronoun
5. Prashnavachak - Interrogative Pronoun
6. Nijvachak -  Self-indicative Pronoun
